Sweatpants. Sneakers. No traffic, deadlines, or adult responsibilities. It's laughing till your face hurts and your stomach aches. There's warm-up exercises, ab-work, push-ups, and cardio. You forget you're exercising because you're running to the second red cone trying to bust out twenty jumping jacks before the girl on the other team does. You're laughing. Your thighs burn but you're having fun. Why? Because you're at recess and you've been waiting all day to play.

Urban recess fitness for women is a 8-week program that meets once a week and includes cardiovascular conditioning, strength, agility, balance, intervals, team-building, flexibility, motivation, laughter, stress-release and fun combined with old-skool recess games!

Urban Recess is a fitness class for women based on recess games from elementary school. This class is really a blast and it's a GREAT workout! We have worked hard to put together a program that incorporates advanced training methods disguised in a fun package!
